Kathy

Great story and lesson and never is a birth story too long in my opinion.

Krista

What a beautiful story and a wonderful testimony to trust in normal birth. Thanks for sharing!

Bonnie

I think Gavin's mom's conclusions that her baby knew how he needed to be born are right on. My last baby had an extremely short cord and it was also around her neck. My labor was very long and gentle and she was born at 3:30 p.m. (the hormone/circadian rhythm thing is interesting in that regard.)

Nature and our babies are so smart. I'm convinced had I been in a hospital it would have ended in a c-section as well.

Great story and kudos on trusting your baby!!

Thank you so much for posting this story. My husband and I are expecting our first baby in October and have just started thinking of whether or not to do a homebirth so it is great to hear such a great sucess story.

Kat
