Wow! That is an awesome reference tool! I'm not from Virginia, but was curious and played around with it a little. If you go into "detail view" you can compare the physician's "expected c-section rate" with their "actual c-section rate". Its VERY telling. Take a look at Dr. Erica Royal. Her expected rate is around 22%, but her actual rate is around 36%!!! A different doctor (can't remember the name now) had a 20% expected rate and a 19% actual rate. Every state should have provide this type of information. Patients deserve to know!


This is AWESOME. I've shared on FB and Twitter... information is power!


Thank god I live in Virginia! I love this website and wish a similar site was available for every state nationwide.
